WALKING WITH TUMBAO is the journey from Santiago de Cali, Colombia, to Salvador de Bahía de Todos los Santos, Brazil. A documentary story that will surround us to the rhythm of bossa nova and currulao through the stories inherited from the ancestors that chime between drums and loas to celebrate or fall in love. Inspired by the stories of Jorge Amado, we will discover the contrasts of similar stories between the heirs of the enslaved Africans brought to America, to walk between two mysterious, splendid and lustful cities, where the African heritage resounds through the streets of the Aguablanca District, in Cali, or between the golden churches and the mansions of Pelourinho in Salvador de Bahía.
