In 1913, the Solvay company set up a baking soda factory in Rosignano (IT). For over 100 years, the production processes of this material have deeply marked, transformed, and affected the bodies and spirit of its inhabitants. Throughout this time, they have covered this place with a strange colour, intensely white, sterile, and corrosive. The film consists of three interwoven stories, written with the inhabitants of the village that guide us along the path of this intriguing colour: a group of teenagers reenact the golden age, the tale of a medium and a fossilised body, and lastly the story of a lover and her memory.
