Mito e memoria, paesaggio e scultura, tecnologia e arte sono solo alcuni dei temi e dei concetti emersi in questi intensi e complicati anni di ricerca dell’artista a Carrara e dintorni. Una curiosità ostinata che ha spinto l’artista a visitare un luogo complesso per scoprirne le risorse storiche, umane e sociali, ma anche per perdersi completamente nei suoi problemi e nelle sue contraddizioni. Ed è da questo caos, di echi del passato e nuove ispirazioni, studi sulla scultura e paesaggi instabili, che nasce l’idea di costruire un film poetico. Questo film è dedicato ai materiali artistici e al rapporto tra l’uomo e il paesaggio che abita, vive e che in questo caso plasma incessantemente. Un legame, quello tra l’uomo e il paesaggio delle Alpi Apuane, che consuma entrambi da secoli. È come se questo territorio fosse destinato a scomparire prematuramente, colpevole suo malgrado, dell’eterna bellezza custodita nelle sue viscere..
Myth and memory, landscape and sculpture, technology and art are just some of the themes and concepts that have emerged in these intense and complicated years of research by the artist in Carrara and its surroundings. A stubborn curiosity that has pushed the artist to visit a complex place to discover its historical, human and social resources, but also to completely lose himself in its problems and contradictions. And it is from this chaos, of echoes of the past and new inspirations, studies on sculpture and unstable landscapes, that the idea of building a poetic film was born. This film is dedicated to artistic materials and to the relationship between man and the landscape he inhabits, lives and in this case incessantly shapes. A bond, that between man and the landscape of the Apuan Alps, that has consumed both for centuries. It is as if this territory were destined to disappear prematurely, guilty in spite of itself, of the eternal beauty kept in its bowels.
