Ho filmato con una GoPro durante un viaggio notturno in auto. In post-produzione, ho invertito i colori, trasformando l’oscurità della notte in un bianco latteo. Il ritmo del viaggio è dettato dai lampioni lungo l’autostrada, dalle auto che sorpasso e da quelle che mi sorpassano, nonché dalla segnaletica stradale. Il suono è una mia produzione. Il mio video va oltre la semplice rappresentazione visiva di un viaggio notturno. Mentre la strada e il paesaggio scompaiono completamente, ciò che rimane è una realtà distorta, quasi surreale, avvolta in una tonalità “bianco latte”. Questo effetto visivo non è una mera manipolazione estetica, ma piuttosto una rappresentazione simbolica di un’esperienza interiore. Il viaggio notturno diventa così un viaggio interiore, un’immersione nelle profondità della coscienza umana. La distorsione della realtà visiva riflette la complessità del nostro mondo interiore, dove i confini tra sogno e realtà, passato e presente, si confondono.
I filmed with a GoPro during a nighttime car journey. During post-production, I inverted the colors, transforming the darkness of the night into a milky white. The rhythm of the journey is dictated by the streetlights along the highway, the cars I pass, and those that pass me, as well as the road markings. The sound is my own production. My video goes beyond the simple visual representation of a night journey. As the road and landscape completely disappear, what remains is a distorted, almost surreal, reality, shrouded in a “milky white” hue. This visual effect is not a mere aesthetic manipulation, but rather a symbolic representation of an inner experience. The night journey thus becomes an inner journey, an immersion into the depths of the human consciousness. The distortion of the visual reality reflects the complexity of our inner world, where the lines between dream and reality, past and present, blur.
