Thomas, a musician of mixed heritage, is pursued by a rhythm he feels compelled to understand and express. His journey takes him from Paris to Benin, where he explores Vodou polyrhythms, discovers the Agbe rhythm, and immerses himself in different traditions alongside local musicians. Part culture shock, part initiation ritual, the adventure culminates in a track titled Réveille-toi (Wake up), recorded in collaboration with Beninese artists. This artistic and spiritual search helps Thomas reconnect with his roots, adopt his Beninese name Dodji, and form a vibrant artistic family—ending with the lively recording session that celebrates the union of his two cultures.
