Tranquil, unspoiled landscapes. The sound of the sea blending with the whistle of wind shaped by the great Atlantic waves. Red mountains, a stork circling above a fallen tree. A dreamlike feeling—an almost tangible sense of infinity, with few human presences. Aesthetic compositions in motion.

My motivation for this film developed from my vision through the nature of Portugal with an experimental film concept in mind. The hospitality, artistic productivity and diverse opportunities for discovery were a great inspiration. On the one hand, the film shows a variety of landscapes such as the sea, forests and meadows. On the other hand it deals with the transformation of land and nature through human intervention.
