Somersault

Sinossi

Fewer and fewer children can do a somersault. The essay film Purzelbaum takes this seemingly trivial fact as a springboard for a philosophical investigation into the causes behind the steady decline in children’s motor skills. It asks: do society’s attempts to “fix” the problem stem from the same mechanistic worldview that caused it in the first place?
