Like friends, like deer tells the story of a forest ranger in a critical situation who kills an illegal hunter during a confrontation. The short explores the deep connection—and the moral consequences—of an extreme act, in a natural setting where the line between instinct, duty and guilt grows thin.

In this animation, I tried to create visually expressive images by painting digitally, frame by frame, on 3D forms. I aimed to convey the story and ideas through colour, texture and visual elements, without any dialogue. This unique technique is the result of many years of continuous work, and no artificial intelligence was used at any stage of the process.
