This film tells the story of a young nobleman born into an elite family, raised in opulence and immersed in a vast library. Yet sudden misfortune brought his clan to ruin. Taking only his guqin, he wandered through landscapes day and night, pouring out his heart among mountains and rivers. One day, while travelling by boat, he had a revelation: he must not linger in grief, clinging to the past. He set out in search of enlightenment in the boundlessness of heaven and earth. Amid drifting clouds and rising mist, he contemplated the grandeur of the cosmos—and in its reflection, found his true self. From then on, he became a resonant echo across sky and earth.
