“Formiche 2025” (“Ants 2025”) is a short AI-assisted video art project that portrays human society through the metaphor of ants lost in a hyperconnected 2025. Through surreal imagery and a spoken narration, the work explores technological overload, political indifference, social fragmentation, Palestinian resistance, and the emotional burnout of contemporary life. Ants move through digital landscapes, scooters, maps and urban chaos, revealing a fragile humanity: connected to half the world but not to its own conscience. The project combines video art, AI animation and an original script to create a dystopian yet intimate reflection on our present.
